Ann E. (Baker) McRoberts, 75, Ogdensburg

OGDENSBURG-A Funeral Mass for Ann E. (Baker) McRoberts, age 75, of Ogdensburg, NY, will be held on Saturday, September 21, 2024 at 10:00AM at St. Mary’s Cathedral Church with Rev. Joseph Morgan officiating. Burial will follow at St. Mary’s Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 4 pm to 6 pm on Friday, September 20th, 2024 at Frary Funeral Home, Ogdensburg.

Mrs. McRoberts passed away on Tuesday, September 17, 2024 at her home surrounded by her family. Arrangements are under the care and direction of Frary Funeral Home, Ogdensburg.

Ann is survived by four sons, Christopher McRoberts of Hammond, NY, Scott McRoberts and his wife, Angela, of Ogdensburg, NY, Joseph McRoberts and his wife, Melissa, of Powder Springs, Georgia, and Steven McRoberts and his companion, Amy Polniak, of Ogdensburg, NY; eight grandchildren, Connor, Brianna, Jed and his wife Tennille, Nicholas, Will, Andrew, Austin, Olivia; a great grandchild, Amora; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins. She is predeceased by her loving husband, Gerald D. McRoberts; her parents, Wesley and Marion Baker; and a brother, Edward Baker.

Ann was born on September 9, 1949, in Ogdensburg, NY, the daughter of Wesley and Marion (Bell) Baker. Ann attended St. Mary’s Academy where she graduated in 1967. Upon graduation, Ann attended Canton ATC where she obtained her Associates Degree in Nursing.

On May 26, 1972, Ann married Gerald D. McRoberts at St. Mary’s Cathedral with Rev. Richard Sturtz officiating. Ann went on to begin her nursing career at Claxton Hepburn Medical Center working in the intensive care unit, then the MedSurge to floor, eventually going to the renal center where she retired as Nurse Manager.

Ann enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren.
