CANTON -- Alice Lee Donnelly, 101, of County Route 27 died peacefully in her sleep on November 5, 2026 at her residence.
A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, November 11, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. in Morley Cemetery with Rev. Brad Ingram officiating.
Memorial contributions may be sent to the charity of one’s choice.
Alice was born a daughter to the late Ralph S. and Lucille (Phillips) Monahan in Norfolk, VA on May 23, 1925. She was employed as an Administrative Assistant at Dartmouth College in New Hampshire for a number of years. She was also a loving wife and mother.
On November 14, 1942, she married her beloved Evan Donnelly in North Bergen, NJ. Mr. Donnelly died July 27, 2011.
Surviving are her five children: Marie Kielly and life companion David Punt of Canton, Evan Donnelly, Jr. and wife Marilyn of FL, Bruce Donnelly and wife Diane of TX, Lois Welch of NH and sister-in-law Lawrie Donnelly of NH; a sister Grace Adams of NC; and several grand and great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents and husband, she is predeceased by two sisters and a granddaughter Janelle Barrow (2021), and a son Robert Donnelly (2026).
Alice lived in Florida for 8 years at which time she did a lot of traveling. She also enjoyed traveling and shopping.
