POTSDAM -- Cinema 10 screening for 11/9, Natchez (United States, 2025, d. Suzannah Herbert, English) 86 min NR. Winner of the Best Documentary Feature at the 2025 Tribeca Film Festival, Natchez is a story of reckoning with the past and confronting America’s reliance on slavery. The film explores the town of Natchez, Mississippi, whose livelihood is dependent upon the tourists who flock to the community to experience the relics of the antebellum south. “With so many engaging voices on offer, Suzannah Herbert wisely chooses to let the locals tell the story rather than providing any explicit narration of her own.” (Ross McIndoe, Slant Magazine.) Films are shown on Monday evenings at 7:15 pm in the Roxy Theater in Potsdam. Tickets are $6.50 general / $55 sharable season or $5.50 student/senior / $45 sharable season (special prices for The Rocky Horror Picture Show.)
