WADDINGTON -- The village of Waddington recently celebrated the grand opening of a new ship-themed playground along its waterfront in Island View Park.
It opened with a ribbon cutting held before the first concert in its summer concert series.
Among the playgrounds features are a climbing wall and a telescope pointed towards to the St. Lawrence River.
Attending the ribbon cutting were village officials, students from Madrid-Waddington Elementary School and members of the St. Lawrence County Dairy Princess Court.
