POTSDAM – After more than 20 years of operations Misty Hollow will close.
The hobby shop, located at 22 Market Street, has been a mainstay since the 90s, offering a unique variety of crafting supplies, board games, model kits and other trinkets. The owners do plan to continue offering select merchandise by mail order and at area flea markets.
The store, owned by Karen Sidletsky, will close April 30.
Over the past few years several businesses on Potsdam main drag have shuttered as online sales continue to chip away at traditional shops.
In preparation of the closure the store is holding a closing sale with storewide discounts. All greeting cards will be sold for $1.
The store is open Monday through Friday from 10 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., Saturday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Sunday from noon to 4 p.m.
