O'Burg Seaway Fest kicks off with firefighters' games, carnival rides, wine and craft show

OGDENSBURG -- Hundreds came out for family fun Saturday at the 59th annual Seaway Festival, amid the heat wave Saturday.

Ogdensburg firefighters sprayed children following the Firefighters’ Kids’ Games at Morrisette Park, providing a welcome relief from the heat. Among the games were relay and sack races, ring toss and water balloon games.

Also, Green Mountain Amusement Rides located near the Greenbelt area offered a super slide, bounce houses, train, and other carnival rides and games.

Meanwhile, a wine, arts and craft fair took place at at the Lockwood Civic Center. It continues Sunday 10 a.m.-3 p.m.
