NORWOOD – Norwood Lake Association held a Father's Day breakfast at the Norwood American Legion to benefit the Norwood Museum this year.
Norwood Lake Association was formed in 1984 as a non profit organization, comprised of Lake residents and civic minded individuals working for the betterment of the Norwood community and the Lake.
Their mission is to help maintain good water quality in Norwood Lake, to foster pride in Norwood properties, to enhance recreational use of the Lake, to promote social interaction within the community, and to help resolve future problems.
Their work includes: operating the recycling center on Bernard Avenue, stocking fish in Norwood Lake, working to combat the spread of milfoil in the Lake, fundraising to assist families, other organizations and the Norwood Food Pantry, maintaining, installing and removing the dock(s) at the public boat launch and hosting the Norwood Brass Firemen and the Annual Paddle Poke Run in August of each year.
