MASSENA -- Nicandri Nature Center is now closed until March 31, but children can get a daily dose of nature by accessing their site from home, says their Facebook page.

“Starting Wednesday, you can look for daily fun downloads (coloring sheet, circle a word, puzzle), resources for fun, nature related things you can do at home, and daily content of pictures and happenings at the center. Educational video or stream from our staff will be at 1 p.m. each day. This Wednesday will be a live stream of fish feeding.

The nature center also has a lending library of toys and games that can be borrowed to take home. It will be housed outside at the center, with a separate return so items can be disinfected before being loaned again. More information will follow on this Wednesday when it is all set up.

Nature trails at the center are still open dawn to dusk daily, and parking is available in the lot.
