OGDENSBURG -- A meth lab was responsible for a Tuesday fire at 102 Ogden St. according to Ogdensburg Police.
Around 8 a.m., the city police, fire and rescue were dispatched to the report of a structure fire.
The Ogdensburg Fire Department "quickly extinguished the fire," police said.
Investigators say "a malfunction of a methamphetamine lab" ignited the blaze.

Smith, 38, was arrested and charged with unlawful manufacture of methamphetamine, unlawful disposal of meth manufacturing material, reckless endangerment and criminal possession of a controlled substance.
The Ogdensburg Police Department along with the St Lawrence County Drug Task Force and U.S. Department of Homeland Security previously executed a search warrant at the address on March 5.
In connection with the March 5 incident, Smith was charged with third-degree unlawful manufacturing of methamphetamine and third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, both felonies.
