Four more die of COVID in St. Lawrence County

St. Lawrence County Public Health reports four more people have died from COVID-19.

Public Health also reports 64 new cases of COVID as of Thursday, Nov. 4.

COVID by the numbers in St. Lawrence County:

Total number of confirmed positives to-date: 12,874

Active cases: 486

Released from isolation: 12,253

Hospitalizations: 31

Deaths: 135

Total number of tests performed to date: 432,513

% of Fully vaccinated in St. Lawrence County: 55.1

% of St. Lawrence County positivity rate: 5.96

The St. Lawrence County Public Health Department is currently holding COVID-19 Vaccination clinics every Monday and Wednesday at 80 St. Hwy 310, Suite 2, Canton. To make an appointment, call 315-229-3452.

Vaccinations are available at local pharmacies.

If you or someone you know is homebound and is interested in receiving a COVID-19 vaccine, call Public Health at 315-386-2325.

SLC Public Health will be offering a Johnson & Johnson vaccine clinic for anyone 18 years and older at the Massena Community Center, Thursday, October 21, 2021 from 2-5:00PM.

Pfizer Booster Clinics - Appointments are required for the Booster Clinics.

Testing is being done at the locations listed below. Some urgent cares and provider offices are also performing testing. Testing is by appointment only.

The Pfizer-BioNTech vaccine will be distributed.

New COVID-19 vaccinations clinics for children 5-11 years old and 12-17 year olds will be held on Saturday, Nov. 13 at St. Lawrence University’s Leithead Field House.
