Downtown Potsdam was alive with people from far and near during the three day Potsdam Summer Festival that concluded Saturday night with fireworks.

A large variety of events offered something for everyone. with over 50 performances from music, to dance, to pickleball demonstrations.

The winner of the hot dog eating contest was a missionary from Calilfornia, Elder Paopao. Among the other contestants were two from Potsdam, Gabriel Matthis, who took third place, and Dylan Bigwarfe.

Other events included the annual Potsdam Volunteer Fire Department's Run to the River Competition, pub crawl, children's events, and craft and vendor fair.
