PIERREPONT -- A New York City man was charged with driving drunk at more than three times the allowable limit Saturday, according to St. Lawrence County sheriff's deputies.
Kenneth Ion, 59, was charged with aggravated driving while intoxicated and speeds not reasonable and prudent following a traffic stop on River Road.
Deputies say he had a blood alcohol content of .27 percent.
It was his first offense. He was released on an appearance ticket.
