New York State Senator Patty Ritchie has endorsed Scott Gray for the New York State Assembly in the 116th River District.

Scott Gray has the experience, leadership skills, and dedication necessary to fight for our region as a member of the New York State Legislature. I am pleased to offer my endorsement for his becoming the representative for the 116th Assembly District.

Throughout my tenure as State Senator, I have worked with Scott on many issues impacting our region, including providing relief to those affected by record high water levels on Lake Ontario and the St. Lawrence River. Time and time again, Scott has demonstrated that he’s a team player who will work with others to deliver for his constituents, which is especially important for someone in the role of Assembly Member.

As a small business owner and a Jefferson County Board of Legislators member for two decades, Scott has the experience needed to hit the ground running when he gets to Albany. During his time on the Board of Legislators, Scott has prioritized keeping taxes low and stabilizing county finances. This type of fiscal responsibility is essential, especially as people struggle due to rising costs and families continue to leave New York State for better opportunities elsewhere.

Scott Gray has the experience needed to excel as our next Assemblyman and deliver real results for the people of our region. On Election Day, I encourage you to join me in casting your vote in support of Scott Gray.
