To the Editor:

We are writing to voice our support for Vickie French for a two year term on the Hopkinton Town Board. Vickie French is well known in Hopkinton having served 36 years continually as Hopkinton town Clerk. This 36 years of experience is priceless in bringing thorough knowledge of all aspects of town government.

Because of her in depth experience she is totally qualified to hold a seat as Councilperson. She regularly attends the Town Board meetings and has been asked for advice by council members and also by the Town Supervisor at various times. By being Town Clerk she has knowledge of the responsibilities of each council member. Vickie has vast experience in New York State and County Council requirements that she would bring to a council seat.

Vickie French has exhibited civic pride and involvement in Hopkinton having lived here all of her life. Her assistance in planning our Summer Fest celebrations, town Christmas parties for our children. Her willingness to help the people of Hopkinton as a public official is well known.

She is well known by the town. She has a wealth of experience with town bureaucracy and is the best qualified for the two-year seat as Councilperson.
