Spring, Summer Constellations
POTSDAM: Spring & Summer Constellations, free planetarium show, shows are held every Thursday afternoon at 4 p.m., in the Dr. Frank A. Revetta Planetarium, located in the basement of Stowell Hall; each show lasts about 45 minutes, and guests of all ages are welcome; attendees are encouraged to arrive early, because once the show begins, the door is locked; no food or drink are allowed in the planetarium, and as darkness is required, cell phones cannot be used during the show; free parking is available in Lot 6, near Kellas Hall.
Family book club
OGDENSBURG: “A Bear Called Paddington” by Michael Bond; tea activity to go with book; 5 p.m; see library’s website for more info; 315-393-4325; Washington St.
SLU Writers Series
CANTON: St. Lawrence University’s annual Writers Series will continue its 2019-20 season with author Kali Fajardo-Anstine, 8 p.m., Sykes Common Room; free and open to the public; Fajardo-Anstine’s debut short story collection, “Sabrina & Corina,” was published in April of 2019 from One World/Random House; a historical novel will soon follow.
Curriculum Night
