Pedro card parties

BRASHER FALLS: Quad Town Senior Citizen Club hosts Pedro card parties every second and fourth Friday night of the month at 7 p.m., LBSH Housing dinning room; cost is $1 each; bring a snack to share, coffee and tea provided; prizes to the winners and losers. Game night

CANTON: Canton United Methodist Church, 41 Court St., will host game night, 5:30-7 p.m.; attendees can bring one of their own games or play one of the church’s; snacks will be provided; all are welcome to attend.

Blood drive

POTSDAM: Red Cross blood drive, 10:30 a.m.-4 p.m., hosted by St. Lawrence Health System, 50 Leroy St., second floor conference rooms A and B and classroom; donors must be healthy, at least 16 years of age, and weigh at least 110 lbs; consider a Double Red donation if you are 0 Neg, 0 Pos, A Neg, or B Neg; pre-register using RapidPass (www.redcrossblood.org/rapidpass); pre-registration can only be completed the day of the drive, prior to arrival; registration can be made online at www.redcrossblood.org, or by contacting 1 (800) RED CROSS; those requiring assistance with registration may contact Deborah Lauther at (315) 261-5413, ordchaselauther@cphospital.org; first time donors and walk-ins are welcome.
