POTSDAM – The St. Lawrence County Arts Council is offering two distinctive jewelry classes this September.
All classes are held at Downtown Snell Hall in Potsdam.

• Precious Metal Clay Woven Earrings with Sheri Chapman - Saturday, Sept. 10, 9 a.m.-1 p.m., teens & adults. Cut Precious Metal Clay paper (the PMC comes in a thin paper-like form) into strips and weave it into either a rectangle or triangle shape. The finished pure silver woven shapes will be placed on earwires to create unique earrings. $40 + $30 materials fee.
• Ribbon Chokers: Pearls & Vintage Look Flowers with Virginia Burnett - Saturday, Sept. 17, 10 a.m.-noon, teens & adults. Learn how to make vintage look ribbon and fabric flowers and create a romantic choker with satin ribbon, tulle and faux pearls. $20 + $20 materials fee.
