CANTON -- Learn to can a variety of meats, including venison, beef, chicken and pork at the Extension Learning Farm, 2043 State Highway 68, on Saturday, April 13 from 1-4 p.m. for the class Pressure Canning Meat Demystified.
Whether you hunt, buy animals by the side, take advantage of a store sale or raise you own livestock, this class is for you.
The workshop ingredients have been generously provided by 8 O’clock Ranch in DeKalb Junction.
The Harvest Kitchen at the Extension Learning Farm offers a modern teaching space, affordable classes and an interactive learning environment.
Join us Class size is limited and pre-registration is required.
The workshop fee is $20.
Participants will get to sample the recipes as well as take home a jar of finished product.
Attendees will also learn how to maintain pressure canners.
