EDWARDS — Edwards will host a Community Day on July 30.
There will be open houses at the museum with a memory wall, story booth and bake sale. The library will be open from 9 a.m.-2 p.m. with a book sale, and an outside musical performance will be held at the Opera House Town Hall.
There will be town-wide yard sales Saturday and Sunday, as well as wine tastings at Edwards Liquor.
Music, food and games will be at the Edwards Lions Field on Hall Road and include a corn hole tournament. Sign up for the tournament by calling Jeff Shippee at 315-640-0650.
Chicken barbecue will be served at 11 a.m. by the Bingo Hunting Club. Hamburgers, hot dogs and fries will be provided by the Edwards Lions Club; snow cones and popcorn by the Edwards Ladies Auxiliary; and baked goods by The Sweet Treat Bakery LLC.
There will be a Pepsi ring toss game, a bounce house and face painting for youngsters.
Music starts at 4-6 p.m. with Josh Kirkpatrick and Brad Ladison, open mic from 6-8 p.m., and music at 2E’s at 9 p.m.
There will be a 50/50 raffle as well as a Chinese auction to include a $400 Blackstone grill, summer cooler package, as well as donated gift certificates from area businesses.
Local vendors or crafters are welcome.
