POTSDAM — Wondering what you’ll do now that you are stuck in your house with the coronavirus threat?

There has never been a better time to use your local library’s free ebooks, audiobooks and magazines.

Potsdam Public Library's director, Annie Chase, said, “We will be happy to issue new library cards for anyone who is interested in trying out audiobooks and ebooks. You can get help logging in by emailing info@potsdamlibrary.org.”

Libby, OverDrive’s new program, can be found on your local library’s website, and it is an easy way to get started.

You can install a free app from your device’s app store: Apple App Store, Google Play, or Windows Store.

Or you can visit libbyapp.com in your Chrome Firefox Safari or Edge browser.

After providing your library card number in the Libby program, you will be able to browse your library’s collection and borrow a title.

Borrowed titles appear under Shelf > Loans and download to the app automatically when connected to Wi-Fi, so you can read the books offline.
