MASSENA -- SeaComm officials recently traveled to Washington, D.C. to join 5,000 credit union representatives to meet with members of congress on key issues for credit unions at the 2019 CUNA Governmental Affairs Conference (GAC).
The conference encourages credit union officials to “Hike the Hill,” which is a grassroots program sponsored by the Credit Union National Association and the state leagues to provide credit unions with the opportunity to visit Washington to remind legislators and regulators that credit unions are Americans’ best financial partners.
The conference also provides credit union officials with the chance to network alongside nationwide credit union leaders and attend keynote presentations from American leaders in politics, media and business.
