POTSDAM — The North Country Children’s Museum was awarded a $20,000 grant from Arconic Foundation.
The grant funds will support the museum’s growth in STEM education initiatives for children in the region with a goal of reaching 10,000 children in the upcoming year.
Museum executive director Sharon Vegh Williams, says, “We are so grateful to the Arconic Foundation for this amazing opportunity to expand our programming in this important field.”
With this grant support, STEM educators will develop and run additional programs for regional school groups, after school clubs, and weekend workshops for families visiting the museum.
