MASSENA -- There will be a haunt held at the Massena Chamber Event Center, 16 Church St., organized by The Temple personal training facility, for several days prior to Halloween.
Dates and times will be Oct. 18 5-9 p.m., Oct. 19 5-10 p.m., Oct. 25 5-9 p.m., Oct. 26, 5-10 p.m., and Oct. 30 8-10 p.m.
A special waiver must be signed for Oct. 30, A.K.A. Devil's Night, said a press release from the chamber.
The fee will be $5 per person, per walk through. Proceeds will support the Greater Massena Chamber of Commerce. The Temple and Massena Chamber will also donate $1,000 to the Massena Youth Football League.
This haunt is not suited for children and does not have a non-scare option, the press release said. Children younger than 16 will need a parent or guardian with them. The parent/guardian will also need to sign a special waiver, the release said.
On Oct. 30, Devil's Night, there will be explicit and graphic scenes and language that may not be appropriate for children. An additional waiver will need to be signed.
Volunteers are still needed for the event for scaring, security, entertainment, and clean-up.
