Greater Ogdensburg Chamber of Commerce names LaRue & Pitcher Funeral Home Business of the Quarter

OGDENSBURG -- The Greater Ogdensburg Chamber of Commerce announced the winner of the 2018 Business of the Quarter Award for the first quarter is the LaRue & Pitcher Funeral Home.In April, 2016 Chris Pitcher and his business partner, Nicole LaRue bought the Allen-Nichols Funeral Home. They renovated and upgraded the interior and landscaping.
They employ four funeral directors and four assistants. The have expanded their services to include: monument sales; the ability to order flowers directly from their website; enhanced obituaries with a guest book; automatic email subscription when new notices are posted and new ways to send condolences such as food gifts and sympathy cards.
“Chris, Nicole and their staff offer exceptional customer service to families dealing with the grief and loss of a loved one,” the chamber said in an announcement.
“They are dedicated professionals who can assist in the planning of traditional or cremation services, whether prearranged or at the time of need, LaRue & Pitcher Funeral Home can help your family during a difficult time,” the chamber said.
They also support charitable and service organizations, the chamber said.
