MASSENA — There soon may be some entertainment in the North Country.
The drive-in movie theater at 9783 State Highway 56 could soon open following announcements that part of the state will be re-opened in the coming days and weeks following the COVID-19 pandemic.
“Well, good news finally! The state is allowing the drive-ins to reopen,” according to the 56 Auto Drive-in Theater Facebook page. “We are looking forward to getting reopened in a few weeks. Lots of details to work out, be patient with us as we go along. We know you are all excited to get out with your families, and we are looking forward to seeing you all at the movies under the stars.”
There are currently no plans to open regular movie theaters.
