POTSDAM: “Paint the ice” event at Pine Street Arena to give one more chance to get out on the ice before it melts with end of season; 3-7 p.m.; paint pictures or messages on ice for $2 per person, under 5 free; paint and brushes provided, but may bring your own; no skates allowed; space on ice available at first come first serve basis; more info: 315-265-4030.
Opioid documentary
CANTON: “Chasing the Dragon” documentary screening and panel discussion, 7-9 p.m., Gulick Theatre, St. Lawrence Campus; focusing on opioid awareness and prevention featuring a panel of professionals and people personally affected by opioids.
Book battle meeting
