Due to an unexpected board member vacancy in April, the Louisville Town Board appointed Kevin Perretta to temporarily fill the position for the remainder of 2026. This November, voters will choose who will finish the remainder of the unexpired term (Jan. 1 – Dec. 31, 2027).
Kevin has proven during the last five months on the Louisville Town Board that his experience, education, and communication skills have helped bring clarity to board meeting discussions.
Kevin graduated from Clarkson University with a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering. He was also the Village of Massena Engineer for nine years and has been the Director of Facilities for St. Lawrence-Lewis BOCES since 2005.
He understands the construction and maintenance of infrastructure such as roads, bridges, buildings, water supply systems, etc. Whether discussing current or future town facilities, Kevin knows what questions should be asked and has the background and knowledge to understand the answers.
Preparing a town budget is a fiduciary act as it involves legally and ethically managing public resources for the benefit of the community.
Kevin understands that the town board is responsible for monitoring the results of town operations, the effectiveness of board policies, and the cost to the Louisville taxpayer for the decisions the town board makes.
Kevin publicly stated when he was first appointed to the Louisville Town Board that he would not vote yes on an action or policy without a complete understanding of the ramifications of that policy, the cost, and how it would be paid for. As a Louisville taxpayer, I appreciate his transparency and accountability requirement.
Kevin has been a resident of Louisville since 2005; he has a vested interest in seeing our community thrive and be all it can be. Please vote November 3 for Kevin Perretta, Louisville Town Council.
