RENSSELAER FALLS — A Fall Bird Walk will be offered at the Indian Creek Nature Center Saturday, October. 4, from 8:00 a.m.-10:00 a.m.

“We expect to find fall songbird, raptor, and waterfowl migrants passing through on their way to wintering in the southern US and Latin America, as well as resident species that are found year-round,” said leaders Sarah Siesta, SUNY Potsdam biologist, and Eileen Wheeler, ICNC Board member.

Meet in the parking lot at the main entrance. Dress for the weather and be prepared for potentially muddy trails by wearing good walking shoes, and insect repellant. Bring binoculars, if you have them, or we have a few to loan for the walk.

The nature center is located one mile east of Rensselaer Fall on Co. Rt. 14. Directions are available at https://www.IndianCreekNatureCenterNY.org
