Tractor Show and Spring Exhibition Show planned in Madrid June 8-9

MADRID — Activities for all ages will be offered at the annual Tractor Show and Spring Exhibition Show June 8-9 at St. Lawrence Power and Equipment Museum, 1755 State Route  345.

Antique tractors and cars, women’s skillet toss, tractor and horse pulls, equipment demonstrations,  quilt show, live reenactors at Fort Tribute and more will be offered.

For children, a petting zoo, pony/horse rides, face painting, kids’ pedal tractor races and pulls are among the activities.

The museum exhibits feature nearly 20 buildings that tell North Country history. Exhibits include Fort Tribute, big engines and equipment, log cabin,  blacksmith shop, saw and shingle mill, general store, one room schoolhouse and more.

Admission is $5 per person, with 12 and younger free.

The following events are planned:

Saturday and Sunday all day

All museum buildings are open; Antique tractor display; Blacksmith shop; Attic treasure sale and SLPEM merchandise; Vendors; Antique car show; Live reenacts at Fort Tribute; Hit and miss engine repair by Howard Houck.
