POTSDAM — An SUV crashed through a fence and stopped in a muddy field on County Route 59 last week, according to Potsdam Fire.
The accident took place on Thursday, June 6, and was reported at 6:29 a.m., Fire Drive Mark Maroney said in an online statement.
Potsdam Fire, Potsdam Rescue, and County Car 10 responded near 469 CR 59 to assist on scene, he said.
The vehicle allegedly left the roadway and then drove through a fence.
Firefighters on scene provided traffic control while the vehicle was removed, Maroney said.
New York State Police also responded to the accident.
Potsdam Rescue reportedly responded as well, but the driver was not taken to the hospital.
Potsdam Fire was in service at 8:05 a.m.
