To the Editor:
Can you imagine the U.S. government in Washington, D.C. is in historic deep debt by $40 billion and we taxpayers have to pay the huge interest. Furthermore, 9,620 poor children across the North Country are not sure whether they will have a meal when they wake up.
Well, with these indisputable facts facing us we have a hard-working 2nd generation dairy farmer/businessman, Blake Gendebien of Lisbon, N.Y. who is committed to bring back our majority in the House in the November 3 elections. His win will set us free to bring our country back to normal. Marilyn and I know how fortunate we are to vote for Blake.
Blake will be planning and attacking with the help of his energetic and faithful teammate Carmen Gendebien, who I know and admit from the days she worked in my Canton restaurant. The Gendebiens know what the Trump buying of beef from Brazil will do to our dairy farmers’ livelihood and to all of us, plus his tariffs on our Canada neighbors and all across the globe.
Blake’s opponent has shown more concern for himself above all, as we saw him on TV glowering at that huge statute of the “me to, not you” soon-to-be the lame duck White House occupant. The selfish guy with the yellow haystack atop cares more about the painted reflecting pool near the Lincoln Memorial and his gold overkill in office and dining hall than the daily concerns citizens are facing. Yes, and he has no interest in helping Americans, he is fighting an unpopular and expensive war in lives and dollars, raising our food, gas and rent prices.
Stefanik is gone. In 70 days so will Constantino after we flock to the polls.
Join us, young and old, in November to get back our lives.
