POTSDAM – Prospective students can explore everything SUNY Potsdam has to offer at two upcoming Fall Open Houses, while also taking advantage of SUNY Free Application Weeks to apply to the College at no cost.

SUNY Free Application Weeks allow undergraduate applicants to apply to up to five SUNY campuses for free, saving up to $250 on application fees. This year's Free Application Weeks will kick off on Monday, Oct. 19, and continue through Monday, Nov. 2.

"We are proud to once again participate in SUNY's Free Application Weeks. Our Admissions team will move applications through the review process expeditiously once you submit your free application. Prospective students and families should also file the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA), to ensure we can help with the best aid package possible. As always, the SUNY Potsdam Admissions team is ready to help with any questions that come up -- so don't hesitate to reach out," said Director of Admissions Terry Francis Jr. '97 & '00.

Fee waivers can be accessed through both ApplySUNY and the Common App. In the ApplySUNY application, fees for the first five campuses in an application will automatically be waived. During the Free Application Weeks, students applying using the Common App will be prompted to select "yes" for the fee waiver, for up to five SUNY schools.

SUNY Potsdam's Office of Admissions will host two upcoming Fall Open Houses for prospective students and families:

• Saturday, Oct. 17, from 1 to 4:30 p.m.
• Saturday, Nov. 7, from 1 to 4:30 p.m.

During Open House, visitors can tour campus and explore academic spaces, residence halls, dining facilities, The Crane School of Music and the Maxcy Hall Athletic Complex. At the academic and student services fair, prospective students can meet directly with faculty, staff and current students while learning more about academic programs, residence life, financial aid, athletics and other opportunities. College to Career sessions will help students connect their studies and applied learning experiences to career opportunities and chart a path toward fulfilling careers in an ever-changing marketplace.

Open Houses are also a great opportunity to learn about the College's wide range of programs, including new bachelor's degrees in physical education and digital arts management.
