POTSDAM -- SLC Arts invites the community to attend the opening of its newest exhibition, “Summer Flow,” on Thursday, Aug. 1 at 5 p.m. at the Potsdam Town Hall, 18 Elm St.

This exhibition features artwork from North Country artists of all ages, celebrating the dynamic beauty of the warmer months.

This exhibit is sponsored by Northern Power and Light.

The "Summer Flow" exhibition will be on display until October and can be viewed during the Town office’s open hours.

The exhibition can be shopped online at slcartscouncil.org/shop.

For each enrollment in Northern Power and Light’s renewable hydroelectricity energy program, SLC Arts will receive a $50 donation.

Bring your National Grid account number and sign up in person.

Can't make it to the event? Support SLC Arts by using promo code “SLCArts” when registering at www.npandl.com/intro between Aug. 1 and 7.

Each enrollment within Potsdam will also help the Village and Town increase the number of consumers of locally-produced, renewable hydroelectricity, ensuring future funding for sustainability projects.

About Northern Power and Light: Based in Saranac Lake, NP&L specializes in offering community hydropower for National Grid customers, and the company serves residents and businesses throughout the region. NP&L uses a share-based model. Each customer receives a share of electricity from a hydro facility, and the power produced credits the customers’ National Grid bill each month.

The company currently serves the municipalities of Glens Falls, Saranac Lake, Hopkinton, and Westport, in addition to the Town and Village of Potsdam, with power from three North Country hydro facilities, Azure Mountain Power in Saint Regis Falls and two facilities owned by Boralex Hydro, one in Warrensburg and Sissonville Hydro in Potsdam.
