RUSSELL – Two upcoming concert performances are scheduled at the Russell Theatre, 4 Pestle St.
Classic country band Steelin’ Country will perform on Saturday, June 29 at 7 p.m. and Miss Angie’s Music Extravaganza for Kids will be Sunday, July 7 at 2 p.m.
Steelin’ Country from Lisbon performs old time country music and original music. The band is Michelle, Kirk and Terry Robinson, with Alex Hammond and Josh Barkley.
Admission is $10 at the door.
Refreshments will be served.
Angie Beeler, originally from Russell, will perform Miss Angie’s Music Extravaganza for Kids on July 7 with singing, movement activities, percussion instruments and shadow puppets. The family show will feature refreshments at intermission.
Tickets are $10 for adults, and children are admitted free.

Admission costs at the theater will help with the continued restoration there. The theatre committee will also hold a 50/50 raffle at each performance.
A newly installed elevator makes the theatre handicapped accessible.
