STOCKHOLM – A second set of human remains have been found at the home of the missing elderly couple at 733 May Road, according to state police.
Troopers say the two sets of human remains will be transported to Albany Medical Center where an autopsy will be performed today.
A body was previously found on March 21 after police dug up a large box made of particle board and cement on March 20, according to WWNY-tv.
According to reports, a wooden box was unearthed by investigators at the scene on March 20 and human remains were located inside the box the following day.
Police are searching for the bodies of Alvin and Betty Babcock.
The couple had lived at that address in the rented trailer home with another man, Robert Bartlett.
Bartlett has allegedly told police that he buried the body of one of the residents, but that he did not kill them.
