Collegiate figure skaters that were members of the St. Lawrence Figure Skating Club and the Potsdam Figure Skating Club have helped their teams to honors in last weekend’s National Synchronized Skating Championships in Worcester, Mass.
Leah Short, who skated with the St. Lawrence Figure Skating Club, is part of the gold medal Seniors team, the Haydenettes of the Hayden Recreation Centre FSC.
Bobbie Jo Sanderson is a part of the Collegiate division gold medal winners as a member of the Miami University of Ohio team. A former member of the St. Lawrence Figure Skating Club, this is Sanderson’s second championship performance with the team.
Chelsea Travis, of the silver medal Collegiate division team from the University of Delaware, has skated with the St. Lawrence Figure Skating Club and the Potsdam Figure Skating Club.
