The St. Lawrence County Office for the Aging has received their allotment of Farmers Market Coupons for income eligible older adults, 60 and up. Individuals can sign up for coupons at our office located in the Human Services Building, 80 State Highway 310, 1st Floor, Canton.

To be eligible to receive Farmers Market Coupons, you must be 60 years of age and older and meet the following income requirements: Monthly Income is at or below: $2,096/month (for a one-person household); or $2,823/month (for a two-person household); or $3,551/month (for a three-person household).

Applicants must apply in person. A caregiver can apply for the client, but must have a copy of the Power of Attorney paperwork with them. There is a limited supply of coupons; therefore distribution dates could be changed if coupons are gone.

July 25 at Laurel Terrace in Massena from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m.; Grasmere Terrace in Massena from 11 a.m. to noon.

July 26 at the Potsdam Nutrition Center,. Midtown Apts., from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m.; Mayfield Senior Housing Community Room, Potsdam, from 11 a.m. to noon.

July 27 at the Ogdensburg Nutrition Center, Centennial Terrace from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m.; Ogdensburg Parkview Senior Housing from 11 a.m. to noon.

July 28 at the Gouverneur Nutrition Center from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m.; Gouverneur Cambray Terrace from 11 a.m. to noon.

July 29 at the Canton Nutrition Center, Riverside Drive, from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m.

July 30 at the Potsdam Farmers Market from 9 a.m. to noon.

July 31 at the Massena Farmers Market in the Tractor Supply parking lot from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Aug. 1 at the Star Lake Nutrition Center from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m.

Aug. 2 at the Brasher Nutrition Center LBSH from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m.

Aug. 3 at the Human Services Building, Rt, 310 in Canton from 9 a.m. to noon; Canton Farmers Market in the Village Park from 9 a.m. to noon.
