POTSDAM -- The North Country Children’s Museum is inviting families to dive into a world of squishy, gooey fun at SlimeFest, happening Saturday, Sept. 27 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. This playful, hands-on event is part of the Worldwide Day of Play, presented in partnership with Nickelodeon and the Association of Children’s Museums.
Visitors to SlimeFest can expect a messy, unforgettable celebration of science and creativity. Children will explore colorful, stretchy slime, step into a pool of oobleck to discover how this unusual substance behaves like both a solid and a liquid, watch slime get launched into a vacuum chamber, and more.
SlimeFest is free with museum admission and membership, and families are encouraged to dress for mess as they explore the science behind slime. The event takes place at the North Country Children’s Museum, located at 10 Raymond Street in downtown Potsdam.
