Several St. Lawrence County music students were part of a contingent of musicians from NYSSMA Zone 5 who performed in one of the eight ensembles at the 82nd annual NYSSMA Winter Conference at the Rochester Convention Center recently.
Emily Allen and Joseph Marcello, both of Massena, Simon Roome and Tyler Allen, of Madrid-Waddington; Connor Falen of Canton, Riley Haas of Norwood-Norfolk, and Rainar Anderson of Potsdam, were selected completing their solo performance at the annual NYSSMA solo festival held this past Spring.
About 900 students participated in the Winter Conference held Dec. 2 and 3.
