Several rounds of rain showers are through Monday before St. Lawrence County finally sees a dry stretch of weather mid-week, according to the National Weather Service (NWS).
Highs will reach near 52 degrees today but showers are expected to dominate the weather Sunday in SLC, NWS says. Overnight the low will be near 39 with scattered showers.
More chances of showers begin the week in the North Country with a high near 56 on Monday, the service says.
A complex storm system is expected to take shape over the central US later this week which will increase rain chances across the North Country on Thursday but no significant systems appear to be on the horizon, forecasters say.
The extended forecast through next Saturday is as follows:

A 40 percent chance of showers, mainly after 1pm. Partly sunny, with a high near 56. West wind 7 to 13 mph. New precipitation amounts of less than a tenth of an inch possible.

Mostly cloudy, with a low around 37. Southwest wind 6 to 10 mph.

Mostly sunny, with a high near 59. West wind 5 to 11 mph.
