St. Lawrence University's men's squash team split a pair of home matches on Saturday, beating Bates 8-1, but losing 7-2 to 11th-ranked Western Ontario.
Kyle Ogilvy, Ibrahim Khan, Sebastian Riedelsheimer, Chris Fernandez, Duncan Maxell, Will Campo, Amay Merchant and Michael Badali won for the Saints in matches two through nine against Bates. Vir Seth lost 3-1 at one while Peter Lynn won the exhibition match at ten.
Camp won 3-1 at seven and Merchant was a 3-2 winner at eight in the match with Western Ontario.
