CANTON — The 2025 Here We Go Saints donor challenge set new records, raising an unprecedented $754,154 for St. Lawrence University athletics. The September 29-30 campaign drew 2,990 donors, another all-time high.

“This year's record-breaking results demonstrate the power of collaboration within the St. Lawrence University community,” said Franco Bari, Director of Intercollegiate Athletics. “We are so grateful that Laurentians across the nation responded to our call for support. A special thank you to the Phelps family for their generosity and leadership. Thanks also to the advancement team and every athletics program—their tireless efforts made this possible. The impact of these gifts will elevate our programs as student-athletes strive for success in sport, the classroom, and beyond. Our Laurentian community is clearly second to none.”

Funds raised will strengthen the infrastructure and resources behind St. Lawrence's athletic programs, supporting continued excellence across all sports. The Phelps Family Challenge, hosted by Barry '69 and Pat Hitchcock Phelps '69, P'96, was instrumental in driving momentum, with incentive-based milestones unlocking additional funds and energizing participation.

Athletics programs, many led by student-athletes, also used social media to rally support, engaging alumni, families, and fans with creativity and passion.

St. Lawrence University and Intercollegiate Athletics and Recreation thank every donor who participated in the 2025 Here We Go Saints challenge. Their support continues to set new standards for what the community can achieve together.
