In response to “Gun Show Inappropriate” which appeared in the March 24-30 issue of North Country This Week: I agree, this is wrong! It is unbelievable that village leaders would agree to such a thing. Background checks at gun shows are not thorough and it is simply putting more guns into the hands of our neighbors. Our schools have already had to deal with threats. Please reconsider. This has been a safe and family friendly event and what a shame to alter it.
