POTSDAM -- Potsdam village trustees have approved the rates submitted by Taxi Zero, which operates in the village.
Two of their charges are up slightly.
Taxi Zero passengers in the village will pay a rate of $10.75 for one or two passengers. That is up 25¢ from the current rate.
A charge of $2 each will apply for third and fourth passengers. $2 extra will be charged beyond two miles in the village, and $2 extra for each extra stop up to three minutes long. Beyond the three minutes 75¢ per minute will be charged. That is up 5¢ from the current price.
Taxi Zero will take a 50 percent charge for no-shows or cancellations after the taxi is dispatched, to be charged at the customer’s next engagement.
The trustees acted to approve the rates before the April 30 deadline for companies to submit their rates for the year.
These rates are approved for the period May 1, 2019 to April 30, 2020.
