POTSDAM – The Potsdam Village Board will hold a public hearing on Monday, April 15 at 5:45 p.m. to solicit and receive comments regarding the tentative village budget for the fiscal year 2024-2025.
The hearing will be held in the Community Room, 3rd Floor of the Civic Center, 2 Park Street, Potsdam.
The compensation proposed in the said budget for the mayor is $9,500 per year and $5,500 per year for each trustee.
The village board will hold a second hearing on April 15 at 5:55 p.m. to receive public comment regarding a proposed local law to Amend Chapter 153, Taxation, Article IX Tax Cap Override, Section 1 and Section 3 of the Village of Potsdam Municipal Code to change the wording to read “Fiscal Year Commencing June 1, 2024.
