Potsdam holistic healing practitioner to hold workshop in Canton Jan. 30

The Unitarian Universalist Church will host Kathy ‘Kat’ Wilcox, a Potsdam-based multi-modal holistic healing practitioner with 20 years of experience in the healing arts field on Tuesday, Jan. 30, from 5:30-6:45 p.m., for a workshop to explore how tarot can be used as a tool for personal growth and inner exploration.

The workshop will begin with a guided meditation to warm up intuitive and psychic muscles and connect with the energy of new beginnings and adventures.

Once intuitive and creative brains are active and ready to go to work, participants will learn how do their own Tarot spread to help identify the lessons, challenges, and accomplishments of the last year, and connect with intentions and aspirations for the new year ahead.

There will be opportunities for each participant to read their own card spread and receive support and insight from other group members. The introduction to Tarot and Oracle will open opportunities to empower each participant to make lifestyle changes that align with the goal of living one’s true potential and best lives.

If you have a Tarot deck, you may bring it. If you do not have a deck or if you’re curious about working with different card decks, decks will be available for use during the workshop. The workshop is free, open to the public, and welcoming to all.

Workshop will be hosted in the social room at the Unitarian Universalist Church located at 3 1/2 East Main Street in Canton, across from the village park.
