OGDENSBURG -- P.J. Girard, age 45, of Ogdensburg, unexpectedly passed away on Thursday, January 18, 2024.
Calling hours will be held on Thursday, January 25, 2024, at Frary Funeral Home from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM.
P.J. is survived by his son and best friend, Ethan Paul Girard, parents, Paul Girard (Debbie Fields) and Shelly Girard (Rob Whitcomb); sister, Jess Spooner (Jason); and two nieces, Carlie Belile and Mylie Belile all of Ogdensburg, NY; two kids special to him, Sophie Planty and Phoenix Planty. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
He is predeceased by his grandparents, Robert and Dolores Girard, Gloria Downey Mills, and Sadie Downey.
P.J. was born on May 23, 1978, in Ogdensburg, NY, the son of Paul Girard and Michele Downey Girard.
He graduated from Ogdensburg Free Academy in 1996.
He was presently employed at ACCO.
P.J. devoted his life to his son Ethan.
He was an avid sports fan and loved watching and playing hockey, and soccer and attending car races with his dad.
A reception for family and friends will be held at the Ogdensburg Moose Lodge immediately following the calling hours.
