DEKALB -- An Oswego man has been charged with first-degree manslaughter in connection to the death of a Hermon man in October.
Troopers say Jaydion T. Carrow, 20, has been charged for the death of Joshua A. Guzman, 21, who died from head injuries sustained from a fight on Oct. 29.
Following the fight, Guzman was transported to Gouverneur Hospital then to SUNY Upstate Medical University Hospital, where he was listed in critical condition.
On Oct. 30, Guzman died due to injuries.
An autopsy was conducted on Nov. 1 by the Onondaga County Medical Examiner's Office following his death.
The investigation is currently ongoing by the New York State Police and St. Lawrence County District Attorney’s Office.
Carrow was arraigned in Town of Canton Court where he was released under the supervison of probation.
Carrow is scheduled to re-appear in the Town of Canton Court on Jan. 22, 2024 at 1:30 p.m.
