To the Editor:

I write today in strong support of Detective Rick Engle in his bid for St. Lawrence County Sheriff. I firmly believe that Rick is the best candidate and will make an excellent leader for this county.

I have known Rick for many years. We served proudly alongside one another in the United States Marine Corps. We also spent many years doing life together outside the military, so I have seen him in many capacities. Rick has always been known to everyone for his honesty and his selflessness. He never hesitates to help anyone in any way he can and his reputation reflects this.

I strongly believe that Rick is the right leader for this position and will exceed all expectations for the citizens of our county. His integrity, his dedication, and his 20+ years experience with the St. Lawrence County Sheriff’s will allow him to do so. Rick Engle has my full support and my vote.
