Ogdensburg's defunct cheese plan is coming down. The city accepted a bid of $1.2 million from Bronze Contracting in November to perform the work. In May, Ogdensburg received a $1.8 million Restore New York grant, which will be used to fund the demolition. The tear-down marks the end of a lengthy tale involving years of litigation and will help make the city's nearby waterfront more attractive to potential developers. Cheryl Shumway | NCTW
